We’ve all seen someone do an act of kindness, and without a doubt it makes everyone involved feel good. So why aren’t we all constantly committing kind acts?

This is the basis of which Kind Canada is trying to make a significant culture change in our country, and get more people to be more kind more often.

Their plan is simple, yet innovative. You visit their website KindCanada.org to receive what they call “Kindness Cards”, and then hand them out to people you see doing kind acts. In turn, that person registers the unique serial number on their card, which will allow the location of the act to show up on google maps, where they can tell their story of kindness.

Their goal is to have 1.5 million kind acts registered in 2017 to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.

Additionally they offer kindness workshops in workplaces, healthcare facilities, and educational establishment, with a mission of brightening up Canada with kindness.
We certainly wish them luck in this endeavour, and think it was pretty darn kind of them to let us help them along the way.
