Carly

Creative Director & Founder

Hour Media founder, Carly Hourigan, was the Senior Producer, Strategic Communications for the Right Honourable Stephen Harper for three years. During her time at the Office of the Prime Minister, she traveled extensively across Canada and internationally, visiting 35 countries to film, produce, and edit videos that outlined the Government’s strategic narrative. She was responsible for overseeing all of the Prime Minister’s digital assets as well as producing content for his wife, Laureen Harper, and various Cabinet Ministers. Carly was the youngest woman ever to hold this role. Prior to the 2015 general election, Carly left the Prime Minister’s Office to start her own production company & creative agency. Carly holds an honours degree from McGill University in political science and Italian literature.

Kyle

Senior Editor

Kyle Reaume serves as the Senior Editor at Hour Media. He’s a celebrated Canadian film editor and director. Kyle’s natural intuition for filmmaking and tireless dedication to refining his art was met with distinction early in his career as an editor and director when Kyle won both Best picture and Best editor during his studies at Toronto Film School. He’s the honoured recipient of the Inside Out BravoFact Pitch grant. The $50,000 award allowed him to direct his latest short, “What About Shelly”, which has since screened at over 20 festivals. Kyle’s creative instinct and experience in the film industry make him a standout in the digital media market.

Justin

Director of Design & Development

Justin is Hour Media’s Director of Design and Development. He holds a passion for design that serves as the driving force behind all his creative endeavours. This passion fuels Justin’s knack for eye-catching, practical video and website development. His obsession with artfully integrating functionality and modern design contributed to his exemplary work on creative projects with organizations such as TD Bank, KPMG, Expert Development Canada and Algonquin College. Justin’s tempered desire to always achieve the best outcomes from his work makes him a reliable and exceptional design and development leader.

Stephany

Communications Assistant

Stephany Da Pont is the Communications Assistant at Hour Media. She serves as a veritable social media guru in the office, drawing on her enthusiasm to bring elevated and vibrant results to Hour Media’s clients. She was the recipient of the International Mobility Scholarship during her undergraduate studies and used the opportunity of studying abroad to strengthen her communication and collaboration skills in new environments. Steph takes full advantage of these skills in the ever-shifting world of social media.

Jeremy

Multimedia Designer & Developer

Jeremy is the lead Multimedia Developer & Designer at Hour Media. His interest in the rapidly growing world of technology and how it affects multimedia allows Jeremy’s work to stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest in the digital world. Jeremy’s attention to detail and attentiveness towards even the smallest considerations assures that his work is always well thought out and polished. Jeremy is a graduate of the Interactive Media Design program at Algonquin College.

Jack

Assistant Editor

Hour Media Assistant Editor, Jack Blondin born in Kingston, Ontario, headed to Toronto to study Broadcast Television and Videography at Humber College. Jack has always had a keen interest in anything technical, especially involving audio and video. He gained great experience in mobile video production while volunteering with Cogeco Your TV throughout his high school career. He was also the go-to audio visual guru in his high school. He continues to be hard working and dedicated to creating great finished products for Hour Media clients. Outside of work Jack enjoys playing hockey, golf and listening to music.

Growing up in Oakville, Ontario, Jeremy graduated from St. Ignatius of Loyola High School and went on to complete his diploma in Interactive Media Design at Algonquin College in Ottawa. During his time in the Interactive Media Design program, he worked hard to create a strong foundation and hone his skills in the field. Starting at a young age, Jeremy always had a passion for media design and development. This was prominent through his love for creating art and spending hours on the computer.
