How to Capture Your Best Wedding Moments

By: Stephany Da Pont

It’s no secret by now—we’re all about video content. Simply, the best way to capture and highlight your favorite wedding moments is through video.

They say a picture tells a thousand words, but we say, “Why tell a thousand words when you can relive them?”

Why you need a videographer

As much as we’d like them to, pictures can’t recreate the sounds of ‘I do’ or the laughter during the best man’s speech. This is why video is the best way to capture your wedding moments. You can preserve the one of a kind moments and surprise reactions forever.

Don’t get me wrong—photographers are great for capturing wedding moments (and are necessary) but I can tell you right now that you’ll regret it if you don’t have video footage.

Things get busy during the day of the wedding, and even if you have everything planned perfectly, there will be unexpected moments. This doesn’t mean disasters, but maybe it’s the expression of a family member or best friend that you’d love to immortalize. These are the unexpected moments that video will capture and more by preserving the impromptu feelings and sounds.

Where to start

Hopefully, by now, you’ve figured out how to best capture the best moments of your big day. The next step is deciding what type of coverage you’re looking for. Many videographer prices will range depending on the size and style of the wedding, i.e. are you going all out with yachts and travel, or are you planning a classic traditional day—or something in between. Whichever the case is, it’s important to realistically budget for the videographer (refer to our bundles and pricing here).

At the end of the day, this will ensure that you are happy with your final wedding video. After all, ‘I do’ is forever.
